Brain Injury Association of Michigan www.biami.org The BIAMI is a non-profit organization that brings together people with brain injury, their families, friends and concerned professionals to improve the quality of life that people experience after brain injury.  There is a special link for veterans.  This is a very active organization.

NEW! Canton Community Foundation http://www.cantonfoundation.org Presentations made at a veterans summit are on this website for review. Also posted is a directory of benefit representatives and their contact information for veteran use. Veterans are encouraged to review the presentations, which include basic benefit eligibility, nonservice connected pensions, service-connected disability and other information.

NEW! Warriors and Caregivers United  https://www.wacu.org/ We focus not just on helping the Veteran; equally important are the Caregivers, families and friends. WACU hosts many events throughout the year. Each event is planned with the PTS Veteran and their entire family in mind.

NEW! Michigan National Guard Family Programs will host a grand opening celebration and ribbon cutting ceremony for their new Service Member Veteran and Family Assistance Center at the Michigan Department of Military and Veterans Affairs.  The SVFAC is considered “one-stop shopping” for service members, veterans, retirees, and families. The intent of the center is to simplify the process of accessing services and support.
