A Chance to Change www.achancetochange.org.  A Chance to Change Foundation was established in 1979 as an addiction treatment center, with an emphasis on helping the whole family.  Experienced counselors can help with substance abuse, problem gambling, sex addiction, and other behavioral addictions.  Counselors are qualified to work with those suffering from depression, anxiety, post traumatic stress e, and other trauma.  We can help with marital and family issues, and have children and adolescent specialists on staff. A Chance to Change offers education classes, workshops, and prevention programs.  We also have an active Employee Assistance Program.

Dental Care – offered for veterans with PTSD! VFU has collaborated with D-Dent to offer dental care for veterans in need. Visit www.d-dentok.org for more information and to download the application. Our focus is on injured veterans and their family members in need. We also treat police officers, firefighters, tornado victims and victims of crime and civilians as we have space. We provide hyperbaric oxygen treatment to individuals and other effective therapies to our patients so they can return to productive lives full of hope and purpose. Purple Heart Homes – https://purplehearthomesusa.org/ Purple Heart Homes has two different programs that might be able to help. A Purple Heart is not a requirement for either program, but we do require at least a 10% Service Connected Disability Rating from the VA. The application process also includes a personal background check. If applying for the VHOP program, credit checks will also be conducted.  Homes available in FL, NC, SC and OK.  The Homeownership Program is limited by the homes we have available.
