  • Army Emergency Reliefwww.aerhq.org.  AER is the Army’s own emergency financial assistance organization and is dedicated to “Helping the Army Take Care of Its Own”. AER provides commanders a valuable asset in accomplishing their basic command responsibility for the morale and welfare of soldiers.
  • AUSAwww.ausa.org.  The Association of the United States Army. AUSA is a private, non-profit educational organization that supports America’s Army – Active, National Guard, Reserve, Civilians, Retirees, Government Civilians, Wounded Warriors, Veterans, and family members. AUSA provides numerous Professional Development Opportunities at a variety of events both local and national.

  • Foundation for Exceptional Warriors – http://www.exceptionalwarriors.org/ The FEW will assist in the healing process of the families and veterans of Special Operations Forces, those recognized for valorous actions, and also those wounded in combat, regardless of era, by providing customized therapeutic recreational and sporting events, at both the local and national levels, to enhance their mental and physical health and to better allow for successful reintegration with their family and community.
    The mission provides financial support grants to combat wounded service men and women from all branches of the United States Armed Forces.
  • Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of Americawww.iava.org. This organization is the nation’s first-and largest-group dedicated to the veterans of the Iraq and Afghanistan wars and their supporters. IAVA teaches veterans how to play a role in the community, connect with others, organize fundraisers and stay informed on issues that are affecting veterans.

The site is DYNAMIC, ever-changing, to keep the membership and all Veterans of Korea, 1945 until now, informed of America’s oldest and largest association of Korea Veterans.   • Military Order of the Purple Heart – https://www.purpleheart.org/ This organization is for wounded veterans who have received the Purple Heart.  They offer support for filing claims, issues with homelessness and education/awareness programs.  Select “Our Services” to identify assistance available.
  • Navy-Marine Corp Relief Societywww.nmcrs.org.  The mission of the Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society is to provide, in partnership with the Navy and Marine Corps, financial, educational, and other assistance to members of the Naval Services of the United States, eligible family members, and survivors when in need; and to receive and manage funds to administer these programs.

  • Position Report – http://pos-rep.com/  POS REP is a mobile, proximity-based social network made expressly for the military veteran community.
