  • Operation Mend https://www.uclahealth.org/operationmend/intensive-treatment-program Participants in the program will receive the personalized care for which UCLA Operation Mend is known. All care, travel and accommodations are arranged for and provided at no cost to Operation Mend patients and their families. In addition, patients and family members will be picked up at the gate of the airplane upon arrival and transported to and from their hotel and all activities and appointments. Following the onsite three-week program, participants will take part in an additional three weeks of provider-facilitated peer-to-peer support via telehealth to continue refining skills and building community.
  • PREP program for mild TBI at Tampa, VA The Post-Deployment Rehabilitation and Evaluation Program (PREP) is a mild Traumatic Brain Injury (mTBI) inpatient program based on individualized evaluation and treatment needs. PREP includes comprehensive individualized evaluations and initiation of treatments for combat-related physical, cognitive, and mental health symptoms.   • Project Sanctuary – https://projectsanctuary.us/ This is a FAMILY retreat for warriors with PTSD that has been operating since 2007.  Project Sanctuary helps military families thrive with six-day, therapeutic retreats and an additional two years of family support services. Their evidenced-based program is the only program that treats the entire family, helping veterans, spouses, caregivers, and kids heal together.  Retreats require $100. deposit to be returned if attendance is fulfilled, otherwise it is at no cost.
